¼ mile drag strip

CruiseSport run two types of style for the drag strip the “Solo” & the “Duel” and both run over the distance of a ¼ of a mile from standing.

The Solo Drag Strip is a timed event where the idea is to get the fastest sprint time possible over the ¼ mile distance. This event is not restricted to vehicle type as there are classes for all make of vehicle. There are awards for the fastest car in each class and the overall fastest time.

The Duel Drag Strip like the Solo drag sees you sprinting down the ¼ stretch except this time you are side by side with another car and in direct competition. The light goes green and the first to cross the line wins.

For insurance reasons and for your safety crash helmets are strongly recommended and are mandatory at some of our venues.  However, these can be hired on the day.
